Captain--The event in Grand Case is NOT called Mardi Gras, but Les Mardis de Grand Case. It used to be called Harmony Nights. That's how I think of it, because I can't remember the real name. I think there is supposed to be a parade with dancers every Tuesday night in Grand Case. The big Carnival celebration on the island is on the Dutch side, and it is later than the event in Grand Case. My mistake, the topic title was Mardi Gras and I’m thinking it’s coincident to have a “harmony night” on Mardi Gras
