I LOVE Happy Bay Villa. We stayed there in November 2020 - when we thought the we were about to be over Covid (the first time lol). I highly recommend it to all, and we had the same thing happen as you did. We usually venture out during the day, but in our entire week, we only made it to the beach once (like you, also La Playa)! The best part was bringing my parents over to enjoy a little vacation of their own and having my dad and my son spend hours in the pool together.
