My favorite all time shore showers have to be the now extinct unisex shower facility on the dock in Gustavia St Barths.
Having elegant European ladies dressing and primping next to stunned unshaven male sailors in the big mirrored common room was decadent hyperbole - and imagining the naked showering occurring in the stall next to you fed many erotic fantasies for many of us in days gone by.
They were free and the water was plentiful too.
