Apple Air Tags are less than $25ea or can be purchased in a 4 pack ~ $90. The majors are getting pretty good at tracking checked luggage where the status is updated in their apps. But if you have lots of connections, or flying independent regionals, money spent on Apple Air Tags is well worth it.
