While having misgivings about eating there for lunch Saturday--being only their second day reopened--the food was its usual excellent meal: truffle sandwich, smoked salmon, tenderloin, various mini pastries, and a bottle of white Cotes du Rhone. In fact, Mrs. Cruzer finally received a steak approaching medium on the French side, after swearing off steak because she always received rare or well done (she ordered it "a point plus a little" in highly technical chef-speak and will never use the term "medium" again). After-main course service was very slow as we had to ask 3 times for a cork for our remaining wine, and we were 4th in line for bill preparation. This didn't really bother us as we expected some reopening glitches, but nothing affecting the food.
Hopefully, what you experienced was a one-off event and not the start of a trend. There were 2 new (to us) servers so that may have affected the service, but not the food.
