Saturday started off with a few hours of hazy sun which turned totally cloudy by 1100am
We took a 10 minute ride over to gran case and parked in the free parking lot near the soccer field across from Le Pressoir
We peeked in a few stores and said hello to Jason the rum "guy" at le pressoir who was hanging out at Skys the Limit
Walked down to juicy fruits to purchase a carved wood turtle which we had seen a few nights earlier for our new house patio
Just a bit warm but bearable
Back Up the street to pickup some chicken and ribs platters from sky'
S the limit Lolo who we always go to since meeting the owner over 10 years ago although it doesn't seem like she is around much any more
We sat in a booth awaiting our takeaway and it was unbearable, not sure how anyone can perist the hot temperatures three
They must be used to it, we were dripping wet, but a quick ting and cold beer helped
We had a great tasty dinner back at our rental with plenty of leftovers for Sundays lunch
A quick stop at super U for some cheap sparkling for my wife to make aperol spritzs since our rental comes with almost a fully stocked bar
Also got some baba rum from the refrigerator section that was a great dessert after dinner
Finished the entire second season of Reacher on Amazon prime and shut the lights off at two am
Considering the possibility that the weather could have been worse, no rain and not a total stay in kind of day
