Met Leslie ( Kenny's) and drop off car at airport 1100am
Took 15 minutes through all and sitting at gate in 15 minutes.
Board plane and about 40 minutes lates pilot announced plane in distress on runway (exact words) and we deboard plane to a warm confused situation.
In all honesty, all passengers seemed to take situation in stride
No one knows what's going on or what's going to happen
Finally our turn in line and American Airlines issues round trip taxi vouchers, one night Simpson Bay Resort voucher and $24 voucher for two to eat at resort
We finally arrive at Simpson Bay resort at 600pm
After 7 hours at airport
Although unexpectedly crowded, Simpson Bay dies nice job checking rerouted guests in
Been about 10 years since we visited when the villas were just reopened.
Shuttle drives us uphill to B building which is very nice and good view
Settle in, then healthy walk to La Patrona where our vouchers say they are good for but find out they are accepted all Simpson Bay restaurants.
Shared a breaded cheese dish with an amazing green sauce
My wife's mixed fajitas were Skimpy and overcooked
My pork chop had good favor but also overcooked.
Bill was less than $100.00
Quick stop at market to pickup something for breakfast because of the next morning's uncertainty
Haven't been to Hollywood Casino since they did away with parking lot by red piano.
Guests of Simpson Bay are given $20 free slot play and $10 black jack match play.
We parlay our $40 slot money into $80 while dropping both hands of black j6
Overall , ahead $60 while only playing with thier money
Casino was empty
Back for quick shower and catch end of Baltimore- buffalo game
1232pm and plane moving like a snail
Gonna need a kit Kat bar if you remember thier commercial
Thankful no injuries yesterday and Thankful for vouchers
