If the changes are made as outlined, I think the whole "flavor" of the beach would be changed, and I don't think for the better...


We first visited this beach about forty years ago when there was nothing there but sea grapes and sand and you didn't have to worry about your neighbors getting too close for comfort. To me, the 'flavor' of this natural wonder was destroyed when the first restaurant morphed from Pedro's BBQ grill into the first formal style restaurant. But again, we can all look at the same things and see them so differently

In the long run, given the periodic storm damages and such, it sounds like the changes under discussion on one hand would benefit everyone in the long run but the associated expenses will probably also price this beach out of the realm of many.
