Homeward Bound
I caught an Air Asia flight to Bangkok the following afternoon; by the time I got settled in at the hotel it was starting to get dark so I didn’t explore the neighborhood much. I had dinner at the hotels rooftop restaurant and took advantage of their happy hour prices.
I checked out the next morning and left my luggage in storage, then took the free tuk-tuk to MBK mall to look for a replacement for my waterproof camera; the prices were higher than I would pay at home so didn’t buy one. I grabbed the train to Chatuchak Market and spent the afternoon browsing and eating, got some last minute gifts and a nice silk robe for myself.
The flight home was long and tiring, but I did get the last flight to Buffalo from JFK, the rest had been canceled due to the “big storm”. I have a haircut appointment scheduled for Tuesday and then Wednesday morning it’s off to Grenada for a couple weeks.
I hope everyone enjoyed the reports and photos, and thanks for all the kind words of encouragement; get out and enjoy life, see the world and live your dreams. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/toast.gif" alt="" />
