You want to avoid bridge openings in Simpson Bay if possible as they will be long and traffic will get seriously backed up the weekend of Regatta. Plan accordingly. If you come to the parties on Kim Sha beach, be careful where you park as it is limited and cars will be towed. The final party with Kool & the Gang will be Sunday night and it usually starts a hour or two late for the headliner. If you can get on a spectator boat (which might be tough now) for one segment of the race, I would recommend that.
