We go every year in April and on occasion the week you're condidering. I'm sure you know already that September into October is about the lowest part of the low season and using that as a basis of comparison, I'd say April is about the tail end of the high season but still a very popular ergo very busy time on the island. It can often coincide with Easter and Spring breaks for those of us from the Northeast.
This would not be a time of year devoid of crowds and while it's not the highest of high season it's still pretty busy.
Does that help at all? <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" />
