............it's Friday evening of week two and we've had a wonderful time so far. We haven't broken any high activity records this trip but then, we really didn't plan to, and we've done exactly what we wanted to do and as we wanted to do it. I don't think it can get much better than that....well actually, it can, as tomorrow we go to the beach.

Today we got a late start on the morning. Coffee in and made a stab at packing up a bit for our big move tomorrow. And as I packed the first piece of luggage with all the stuff we didn't even unfold over the two full weeks we've been here already, I've promised myself, December will be different and I will stick to bringing JUST ONE BAG FOR BOTH UF US with about half the stuff I packed this trip. You'd think by now I'd know better.....

We lunched at the pool, enjoying our last day here before we head over to Simpson Bay and we said our good byes to a few who either were leaving today or had early flights tomorrow.

And back to the room for a bit more packing, showers and off to Bavaria for our fix of German food. It was very good and as usual we over ordered and couldn't finish. John had the sauerbraten (sp?) and I had their pork schnitzel, and sadly, we were both too full to even share one order of their out if this world apple strudel but they invited us back another night for just dessert and if time allows, we may just take them up on it.

Home and soon to bed in a state of eager anticipation as to what tomorrow will bring, and whatever it is, I'm sure it will all be good!! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/handshake.gif" alt="" />

And I almost forgot two important things. According to one of our bartenders, today is Labor Day - another island wide holiday if she got it right. And last night was the last night of carnival and they either burned MoMo last night or will tonight but she wasn't certain which.

And tonight is the official grand opening of Starz Casino - formerly the Atlantis - and they supposedly expect in excess of a thousand people up there tonight, and I can assure you - two of them won't be US!! Some of the dancers were using rooms here at the Towers for dressing and make-up. Traffic is crazy going up and down the hill from there and I can't begin to imagine where they're going to put all the cars. Fun for many I'm sure but not our thing at all, IF we could even get in there tonight.

Respectfully,

pat
