Picked up at 6:15 am, picked up our neighbors, Carol and Robert and off to JFK. DAL 461 off on time and arrives 20 minutes early. Immigration painless.
Met Leslie's wife to find that she overbooked cars and pointed us to Rodahls for same white Corolla and same price. She says Leslie is doings ell, probably doing a little too much, and she is still learning the business. I am glad to have a car and that worked out fine.
Moments later arrived Royal Islander where checking was smooth. Got to room to find Jeannie just finishing up. What a sweet lady with a great service.
Unpacked and off to the pool in no time. Just not having to shop for groceries was a huge timesaver. Dinner at Pineapple Pete's followed by drinks and some laughs at Cheri's. And off to bed early as travel day usually knocks us out.
You can call Day 1 a success.
