Up early. 4 months into retired and my body clock hasn't changed. 44 years of getting up to catch a train seems a hard habit to break. Coffee on the balcony and watched a cruise ship come in. Waited for everyone to wake and had breakfast in.
Dawn was the beach of choice for Sunday. Ride over was good and at 10:30 we were comfortably settled on the beach at Busby's. It was a bad seaweed day but the water was beautiful. Swam sunned and then ate lunch at Busby's.
Back to Royal Islander, showered, shaved, dressed and off to find Mary by the Sea Church for 5pm mass. Not easy to find but we did and only 5 minutes late.
Dinner was an old favorite, Tutta Pasta. Was as good as we remembered. Was pretty busy for a Sunday and only one waiter, but hey, we are at Island speed now and it was all good.
Back to RI for cocktails on the balcony. There was music from Sonesta and life was good. Another successful day of doing nothing.......perfect.
