I was honored to sail with Sammy on the latter portion of this trip and want to say "thanks" for reminding me of where I've been. I have always enjoyed his travel reports, but never fully appreciated the time he spends in preparation and posting - over an hour for each one.
Mike B. - Yes, coming in to Bonafacio was very dramatic. Initially it looks like solid vertical rock cliffs with no evidence of a harbor. Then you notice a super yacht coming "out of the cliffs" and realize there is a way in - like going in through a canyon. Everyone had their camera out.
JP - The name of the restaurant Sammy mentioned is Agriturismo Candela and the price was a bargain at 35 euros pp. It was very good and a memorable dining experience. The taxi was 50 euros for 5 persons each way.
