Chris Washburn, the owner, did tragically pass away but the staff and her partner Bonkey have kept the place running fine..you might want to check out the place by Ke Villas in Carrot Bay (next to the graveyard on your right heading east) and definitely stop by if it is finally open. It may be going by "Gene's Place" and will be run by Gene and Robin who made such a huge success of " Cruzin"..her cooking is amazing. When we left last week they were days away from final paperwork..Reservations should be made for upstairs at " The Sugar Mill"..they appreciate men in collared shirts and nicely dressed ladies..stop by their upstairs bar for a drink and at least check it out and introduce yourselves to owners Dennis and Mary..they will treat you royally..
