You might check with Lester Maduro. He is an import agent on VG. indeed he is clearing our Subaru in today. The problem is that the BVI government would have no way of knowing the items were for personal use and not imports requiring a customs fee.
With sending items to Connections on St John or other US territory customs are not a proble,m.
timeliness and expense are another problem. Many use St. John or STT for destination ofackages and use a forwarding service. Again the problem would be clearing customs claiming are person items to be used and taken home.
