Here is a portion from the letter: "Pearl Development hired a team of experts to closely study the phenomenon...The proposed solution entails the emplacement of floating containment booms in Oyster Bay approximately 1,000 ft off of the beach. Pearl believes that when coupled with a removal pump, the booms will be effective in alleviating most of the influx and make our beach enjoyable for swimming and lounging....Pearl expects to be able to deploy the booms and removal pump by March 2016". Glad to see they are taking a proactive actions.... no word on the expected cost or likely increase in maintnance fees to cover the new expense.
