Has anyone used Seabattical for a long term charter? If so what are your thoughts on the company and condition of yachts? We are considering Seabattical due to the affordability of a long term charter.
We are contemplating a long term charter in 2017 - possibly 4-8 weeks in duration and wish to sail from BVIs to Guadaloupe or Martinique and back.
Typically we charter with Voyage in BVIs, have sailed with Sunsail/Moorings in St. Martin & area including overnight to BVI, Moorings in Mexico, Sunsail in Canada, Horizon in Antigua/Barbuda and Grenada.
We are wishing to take a longer charter to give us an idea if we wish to cruise at some point. We figure a long term charter will give us an idea if cruising life suits us.
We will be chartering with Voyage again June 2016 so may drop in at the Seabattical base to take a peek at their base and hopefully look at a boat in their fleet.
Any response or input kindly appreciated.
