We stayed there on a swap late Oct./2015. Renovated units are very appealing. Re: Assessments , every annual MF should have a percentage included to be used for Reserves. This is, if nothing else, Common Sense. Said reserves help with larger expenditures of appliances or roof repairs. I "assume" the bankruptcy fiasco consumed any reserves there were. Let's hope the fees continue to be used for upkeep and repairs as needed and not roll into another major assessment in 10-12 years when it will be time again to update and renovate again.
