We got back late on Thursday night from another great trip, stayed 9 nights on Tortola at CRC. We love staying at CRC and in the Apple Bay area and really enjoy Malcolm and Candace, can't ask for better hosts. Our daughter joined us for her first trip back to the BVI's in 11 years, which made the trip that much more fun.
Dinners at Gene's new place in Carrot bay and Sugar Mill were fantastic. We ate at Gene's three of our nights and can't say enough about how good the food is there. It's good to see the work that has been put into Sugar Mill and the food couldn't have been better, it is a special place to enjoy. We also went to Bananakeet on Friday night to see Ruben which is always a great time and the food was as good as ever.
I think every restaurant we went to added 15% to the bill and one went so far as to have a scale at the bottom of the receipt suggesting what 15%, 18% and 20% gratuity would be if we wanted to add it on top of the 15% they already added. So beware when eating out.
DIF has already set in but we are planning an early November trip to Anegada.
