Finally tried Moulin Fou”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2015 NEW
After many years of staying in Maho, we decided to walk up the path to Moulin Fou. We were very warmly welcomed and the service was friendly and attentive throughout the evening. There is outdoor seating and as well as a comfortable air conditioned dinning room. Onion soup was rich, hearty and delicious. Avocado & crabmeat salad was light & refreshing, but not quality crabmeat. For entrees, rack of lamb was cooked to preference with a wonderful goat cheese sauce served on the side. Shrimp and scallop duo was served on tiny house made ravioli. The raviolis were like little presents for the palate. A bottle of infused rum is put on the table after dinner to enjoy. Dessert was Gio's gelato (across the street). a few hours latter after some gambling at Casino Royale. A inadequate12% gratuity is put on the check because the owner thinks the menu prices are too high and a larger gratuity may scare away some customers. A nice evening, but better food to be had in Gran Case.
