We've done October, November and December. Late November seems to be less rainy than early November. More places are open on Anegada then too. You won't feel crowded on Anegada.

St. John really does not have a slow season any more. With Thanksgiving as a busy week, it is best to book early. Its a big island and there is plenty of room for people to spread out. If a north swell comes through, the north shore beaches on St. John will be pretty wiped out. Maho and Francis Bays are sometimes safe and Waterlemon/Leinster Bay almost always is good. The sheltered south shore beaches, Salt and Lameshur bays, will be over run with the overflow. Its a good time to go for a hike or the pub.

Late November is still hurricane season, so plan accordingly. Trip insurance is a pretty good idea.

Cheers, RickG
