turqwater said: COMING FROM CENTRAL NJ. FLYING OUT OF JFK TO SXM ON MAY 7. HAVE NOT FLOWN OUT OF THERE BEFORE. IS THE ON AIRPORT LONG TERM PARKING SAFE? DO THE SHUTTLES RUN FREQUENTLY? WOULD I BE BETTER OFF PARKING IN THE OFF AIRPORT LONG TERM LOTS LIKE SPOT ON? I HAVE CHECKED ON LINE AND REVIEWS OF EACH ARE MIXED BUT COST OF OF OFF SITE IS LOWER. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/duh.gif" alt="" /> Yes - please stop shouting. To answer your question, Long Term Parking at JFK is 18.00 a day. You follow signs for "LTP", park your car and take the "AirTrain" to your terminal. Think Disney Monorail. Google JFK, Long Term Parking - AirTrain - all the answers. We used to park off site, but found the buses to be a pain, probably cheaper, but we like to be able to walk off the plane and walk to the AirTrain to our car. You can pay, cash, credit card or with your "EasyPass".
