Here are a couple of things we enjoyed when we had a land-based vacation on Tortola:

- If you are going to be there at sunset, I highly recommend going to Bananakeet. The restaurant is hanging on a cliff and you get a stunning view down the coastline. We enjoyed the food there too.

- You could have lunch at Sugar Mill restaurant. Its a tiny beach, but you are right on the water and they serve wonderful food.

- In Roadtown there is a street, I think its Main St, that is very interesting. It has lots of very old classic West Indian buildings that house shops and restaurants. If you like seeing old architecture, you would enjoy a stroll down this street. We had excellent rotis at the Roti Palace (not sure its open any more).

Enjoy your trip!
