I'm an avid reader, too, and love my kindle all the time but particularly when traveling. We were boarding at JFK one year and I was having difficulty putting my carry-on in the overhead so my DH stepped over to help. He couldn't believe the weight of that little bag and when we finally arrived at the Towers, he counted ten paperbacks I'd packed for myself for our two week plus trip.
