Has anyone used Travelsafe Insurance?
I always use Travelguard, but their prices are getting TOO high!

I'm trying to read the small print on medical evacuation to make sure they will fly you to the hospital of your choice, as they say on page one, and not the nearest hospital that is able to take care of you, in fine print??....

Any problems??

insuremytrip, a sponsor on this board, has Travelsafe, and many other options, very easy to compare policies.

From what I read, they bring you to the nearest facility.

They are suppose to bring you to the closest hospital to stabilize and determine if you need more care then the facility can provide. If so, they are suppose to take you to the hospital of your choice.
Both companies confirmed this, over then phone, and I always paid more for for it with Travelguard but......

Travelsafe seems to have the same coverage, and some better, for less money.

It's at the top of the sponsors page, ABOVE the SXM sponsors, in the general sponsors listing.
