Could anyone tell me if the Perch will be open when Club O is closed for vacation. Going on a cruise and wanted to go for the day and can you rent chairs during that time?

I'm fairly certain the Perch is closed when Club O is closed. You will be able to rent chairs. I think Willie is planning to be married over the break! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/circle.gif" alt="" />

If you are looking for the CO option I am pretty sure tha Pedro section will be up and running.

Regardless of whether the Perch is open, Club O will be renting chairs.

True but at least at the Pedro chairs you can get drinks.

We always bring a cooler to Club O beach, so don't really need that service. We don't drink frozen drinks though. Also, even if it's way off season, I'd still personally prefer to have chairs a little further away from the bus and taxi parking at Pedro's. ...

We have rented chairs from Club O in years gone by and always brought a cooler and joined Willie for happy hour
Now we just stay at Club O still take a cooler to the beach and still join Willie for happy hour
But if Club O is closed I agree with Carol we like to be further down the beach from Pedro's and the cameras and gawkers

In years gone by, the Perch Bar & Papagayo each closed for a week during the resort's closure. When one was closed, the other carried its menu. Club O hasn't yet announced this year's plans.
I'm going where the weather suits my clothes.

Even if it hasn't been announced, I would think they know what they are going to do by now, as it's coming up fast..
