It's been 3 years now since we have vacationed in our favorite place on the planet.. Now with kid out of college and working its time to enjoy some travel time.. We like to stay close to Orient beach area and are looking for a week rental that won't break the bank.. The past 2 times we have gone we have stayed at the Alamanda.. Having a pool was really good and walking distance to the restaurants and beach was really convenient .. Any other suggestions, we'd like try a different place, maybe a private rental..

We rented a townhouse in Orient village, maybe 100 yards from the Alamanda. Place was called Villa Josephine and had a private pool. Arrangements were made through Jim Ruos of CITS. Price for 9 nights was around $ 2,600.

Hope that helps

Check out Cote Reve and Cote Mer. Great owners and price is right. They are close to everything and have a pool as well.

Jim should be able to help you with several different leads in Orient Village.. Or, if you're willing to go a bit further away, check out SXM Studios, at Mt. Vernon, on the TTOL sponsors page.
