last car ferry trip may be our last car ferry trip! never have taken a taxi but considering it this time. can anyone suggest a ball park fare and contact info on a reputable driver? or should we rent? rental car co. suggestions? thanks...

If I remember correctly Cinnamon is $7 each way, so Maho would be more. The taxis are safaris that will fill up and go in that direction, stopping at the various beaches. Are you just going for the day? Unless you are going to drive all over the place, I wouldn't think that renting a car would be worth it.

No taxi traffic at Francis, so you would need to arrange for a pickup. vinow.com has a reliable taxi rate table - one-way $13 to Francis for first passenger, $9pp for each additional.

Maho has very little taxi traffic, so same strategy would apply. Cinnamon Bay is the beach furthest east with regular taxi traffic.

Daily rental cars are possible, by you generally need to call for availability. Varlack is the closest to the ferry dock.
