We have two days in Charleston at the end of October. I would love to visit a plantation, perhaps take an informative tour, either by bus or carriage (?) Etc. Please pass me your ideas. Any tips on a yummy place for dinner/lunch would be great too.
Thanks so much.

A carriage tour through downtown Charleston is a great way to spend a couple of hours. Done it many times. As far as dinner/brunch is concerned, High Cotton is my place to go.
On Sunday morning, they have a jazz combo playing in the bar.
Best espresso martini I've had.

Enjoy your time in Charleston, it's a great city. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/toast.gif" alt="" />

Try to get a reservation at Husk. You won't be disappointed
