Wednesday, breakfast, some CNN News then on to Orient again. Today though, having passed the Old House for 5 years,we stopped and met Pierre, just at the end of his guided tour, so we got him to ourselves for our own tour. What a character, genuine, and friendly with an incredible family history, quite a rum collection to boot.

Having stopped there now I'd highly recommend it. He has some artifacts there that the Smithonian should have. Tour is inexpensive and goes about 20 minutes or longer if Pierre is as talkative as he was that day. Someone has made a website about him, I'II look up the spelling of the family name for my next volume, the site would be worth a read before going.

You can't miss the old house it's on the way to orient not far over the french border which is marked by a white cairn on your right. We went back over to French Cul De Sac to Sol Luna that night for Dinner, I had made a reservation from Home which really wasn't required again from 9-11 fallout Iam sure. Just drive up the road into Cul De Sac and turn right when you see all the sign posts about a 1/4 mile in. Sol Luna is on the left half way to Mt. Vernon. Italian themed and excellent.

Met a couple from Lowell Mass. Though the Electrical Strike was over, the power went out about 3 times just before the main course. Didn't care, gas ovens, lots of cold Heinies and a huge wine cellar, who cares!
