We'll be down for Christmas Eve through New Years. Can you suggest anything to do for the Christmas Holiday. We're staying at Orient Beach and usually spend the whole time on the beach--last trip we didn't even rent a car. Anyway, I'm thinking about going to a nice dinner or even attending a Christmas service at a local church. Any ideas?

If you plan on attending a service, you should dress properly. The local dress to the nines for church.

There are some very nice restaurants in Orient Village, try Le Piment. Club Orient will probably have a Christmas party (clothing optional resort). My Church is pretty casual (maybe upscale for Christmas). We have a lot of tourists that just come in shorts, no problem. Grace International Baptist Church in Philipsburg. We meet at 10am at the Jubilee Public Library. You can find it online...Pastor Erick VanArneman.
