We just completed our second charter with TMM.
My comments are a little biased as we now have a lagoon 450 on order to be delivered to TMM in May. The boat is Scuba Doo.
If we did not think a lot of the company, we would not have the confidence to put a Lagoon 450 in their fleet. Prior to ordering the lagoon, I communicated with industry members, past charterers and current owners. All roads consistently pointed in the direction of TMM. I then toured TMM's base and checked out the apparent condition of several boats. I was shown some of the behind the scenes and remained on track.
I have chartered in the past with Bimini yacht charters(x3), does anyone remember them. Then with Sun Yacht Charters(later merged with sunsail) (x2), the moorings (X1)and with Horizon Yacht Charters (x4). So I do have a little bit of experience dealing with charter companies.
Our worst experience was with the moorings in Belize. Our best experience was with TMM. Horizon was decent, however, TMM is better located, the staff at TMM are very very pleasant to deal with, the riteway on site carries a bigger selection than the riteway at nanny day. The TMM chart and both briefings were great. The office staff is very courteous and efficient. Check in and check out we're both quick. The unlimited Digicel data is a real plus.
Our first TMM charter was last fall on Orion, a lagoon 40. The boat is in great shape and everything worked as advertised. It was delivered to us in a very clean condition. We were a group of 5. This booking was made direct through Mark, known to many on this board. Mark was very responsive and provided me, as a TMM newbie, with all of the information I needed.
The second TMM charter was on a lagoon 450, Pura Vida. This booking was made direct with TMM. Karen and Didi in the booking office are great to deal with. Very professional and followed up promptly on any questions I had about the boat.
Pura Vida was also in excellent condition, everything worked great. We were a group of 6 on this trip. The boat has tons of space for people, clothing food etc. the lagoon 450 is a fantastic platform on which to cruise the Virgin Islands. 4 divers were in our group. There was plenty of space to setup all of our dive equipment.
Any questions re TMM are welcome.

Glad to hear TMM are still great. We had six happy and successful years with our boat Jeannius with them. The people were what made them such a great company to deal with and, although some of the names have changed, many of our old friends remain and I'm sure they'll look after you and your boat very well. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Thumbsup.gif" alt="" />

The base is located about 1 mile west of the Road Town ferry dock.
The docks are very well sheltered from wind and surge. The docks are very solid fixed not floating.
It's pretty easy to ge in an out of the marina. Diesel fuel is conveniently located across road harbour at Delta Petroleum. I think that Delta has really good prices for Diesel. There are clean bathrooms and showers.
They have bins for charterers to pick mask snorkels and fins at no charge.
Lots of spare parts in case of mechanical problems and a large number of support people
Sharkys Cantina is on site and serves really good food, especially outstanding pizza.
The riteway on site has friendly staff and is has a pretty good selection of provisions.
Joyce brings coffee and tea to the boats in the morning.
The staff is helpful to arrange taxi rides and pretty much help out with anything else you need.

Hey Warren60! Glad you enjoyed Pura Vida! We have had her in charter with TMM for just over two years. It has been a great experience. Barney and the crew are the best! Although we are taking her out of charter at the end of February we will miss the staff at TMM. We love the 450! You are in good hands. Come see us at Soper's Hole!

I second what Warren stated. Staff attentive and friendly. Clean facilities. Sheltered. Good onsite security at night. ALL boats have free WiFi.
