Great endorsement on Trip Advisor for La Vista. See our classified under classifieds above.

Really? Atrium...nice place but #1?

Just mentioned in the JB thread one BR's are $99 for the dates I checked in January

Edited to add:

Ahhh...#1 of 12 in "specialty lodging" whatever that means (does not mean timeshare)

Specialty lodging

Not many biggies on that list. TA tends to break down hotels/resorts by areas so all are in the top 10...Best in Maho, Best in Simpson Bay, Best Specialty, Best Hotels, Best resorts etc....it helps paint a better sales picture.

It's listed as 'specialty lodging', whatever the heck that is. While I think LaVista does timeshare better than anyone else, I don't really consider timeshares as 'specialty lodging'.

Exactly...classification used to make the list smaller thus all in "top 10"

Timeshares are a special type of lodging unlike a regular hotel so thus the term. Most have some type of ownership attached so are considered different from the normal lodging accommodations.

...except that if you look at the places listed there under specialty lodging, most of them are not even timeshares..
