In some past posts there were warnings to not leave valuables unattended on the beach while snorkeling or hiking the beach. Specifically someone mentioned seeing a teen on the beach trying to grab some of their personal items in a beach bag. So, this is what we do: Dive BVI and maybe other shops sell plastic waterproof boxes big enough to hold money, credit cards and car keys and other small things like rings and they come with a cord so you can wear them around your neck while in the water. The only things we leave on the beach while in the water are towels and snorkel gear bag. The boxes come in two sizes, thin and thicker. We go for the thicker ones as sometimes the rental car key is now a fob of size. So, something to consider here, and why is it not May yet? <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/jester.gif" alt="" />
