I will try to keep this short and sweet.
We flew Boston to SXM on USAIR in free seats from frequent flyer miles so I can't complain. Actually except for getting to Logan at 5AM for checkin things went smooth.

I had booked an isle and window seat at the rear of the plane for my wife and I on all legs of the trip, the theory being with luck we would have an open seat between us and if someone did show up they wouldn't mind giving up a middle seat to take the isle while I would move over next to Joanne. As it worked out we had an empty middle seat both legs going and coming.
We arrived on time at SXM and were met by AAA at the exit. Off we went and found our car not ready yet so we were given Myra's personal car to take to Club O and she said she would drop ours off on her way home. No Problem... She had to do some scouting but found us at Papayagos bar later that night.

This is about the fifth time I have used Alain's AAA rental and got a new car at a good price. While at the bar we also met Sherry and Jerry (SandJ) and began a friendship that brought us togeather for some good times during the next 11 days.
Monday we woke up to overcast so we headed to Match for our supplies since we like to eat breakfast and lunch on our patio. The shopping carts are locked togeather and you put in a 10f coin to release them... well since the euro I had not brought any francs so I went inside and now they sell you a plastic slug for $1.00 that does the same thing. After shopping we headed back to the beach for an overcast afternoon however we ran into Contessa and party including Mr St Martin himself out on the beach.
Well Monday night was the TTOL party at Peg Leg Pub. There were many people there that night and I don't remember names well but Patitaly stands out. Once you have met her you won't forget her, a great gal and a lot of fun. This was also my first time meeting Neil as SSBB was always to long a trip from Orient, quite the man and with all the toys. I tried all week to think of a way to smuggle his new harley home with me. I guess you safe until next year Neil, thanks for a good party. I also have to thank Kathleen who put the whole thing togeather.
After two or more weeks of overcast weather the front moved on and from Tuesday on until we left we had one sunny day after another. Contessa did you take the rain home with you???
We pretty much settled into Orient Beach at Club O during the day with a couple of short trips into Marigot. Most nights we were back and ready for bed by 9:30pm.
The best meal of the trip was at L'Amandier in Grand Case. The most fun was at Repaire du Pirate in Grand Case also. We also ate at my favorite rib place many nights the "Dingy Dock Bar" in Oyster Pond down at the docks next to Capt Olivers. Where else do they give you your mixer in a glass of ice and the bottle of booze for you to make your own drink for $2.00 happy hour 5 to 7pm and $3.00 the rest of the time. Bottled beer is $1.00 happy hour and $2.00 normally. If you go tell Ryan that Pierre sent you. We also went to Banannas to deliver a case of oyster crackers to Bob and Dale. To looong a story to tell now

but we had a good meal at a reasonable price. Other nights we ate at Papayago's (it's hard to dress and go out after happy hour), Peg Leg Pub, and Portifino's. We also had a great meal on our patio one night under the full moon made up of stuffed crabs, fritters, and other items purchased in the delli at Match all precooked so all we had to do was warm them in the oven.
Time flew by and soon we had to return to the airport for our return flight. We had been warned to leave 3 hour for checking and security so being a worry wort I got there in plenty of time.... From walk in the door to sitting down at the gate took me 45 mins. Then the flight was an hour late

Thank god they finally have air conditioning that works in the waiting area

. With bad weather along the east coast we finally got to Boston sometime after midnight. Only two out of three bags came out on the carosel but we finally found the last one by 1 oclock.

I couldn't leave it behind because all the room the oyster crackers took up on the trip down was now filled with MaDouDou. I managed to bring back eight of the large bottles.

I have to stop giving people a taste at home because everyone wants a bottle when I come back. By the way I think I only paid about $7.00 at the factory per large un-adorned bottles.
Thanks to all who's posts helped us plan this return trip and lets start the count down for next year.
