Another fantastic meal at the Wonky Dog restaurant on Anegada. We have been going there since they opened & everytime we have been there the food is delicious. Most of us had the grilled Anegada lobster, which was yummy, but one of our crew had the lobster Rockefeller & said it was the best lobster dish he has ever eaten. Salads are large. The chocolate mousse is scrumptious. Dezny & Peter do a great job. Aaron is an awesome bartender and his fire show is spectacular. Worth a visit.

Just there last week and had another amazing dinner! Lobster for everyone at our table except 2 had the chicken. Said it was the best chicken they've ever had! Key lime pie is delicious (and a large serving to share). And, yes, Aaron was awesome. Funny, personable, great bartender and the fire juggling is an entertaining bonus!

This is the first I hear of Wonky Dog. Always Neptune's, ARH, Potters so on. I did some searching and see they opened in 2014 so maybe did not catch them as it has been awhile since my last visit. Our visit is this summer so hopefully they are not taking a vacation during our vacation!

Looks like a nice addition to Anegada

Had a great meal there on Saturday night. If you are a fan of the lamb, be sure to order the 13 hour lamb shank!

There is normally a brief summer closure for Wonky Dog. If you post your dates, I think Peter will probably reply and let you know if he's going to be open.

My Wife, and our friends ate there in June of last year. All three of us said it was one of the best meals we ever had and all four of us have ate at some very nice restaurants. I had the mango lobster and it was very tasty.

Lobster rockefeller is amazing and Aaron was pretty cool as well. Highly recommended. Best place on the island IMO.

Aaron is awesome and The Wonky Dog is one of my favorites in the whole world let alone the BVI. And I'm from New York City!

Peter is an active participant here on TTOL so I am sure he'll weigh in (sleepychef).

Can you Generally make a reservation the day prior without issues or do they fill up fast?

George, we were there in June last year and didn't make a reservation. We ate at 7:00 pm and the restaurant was 1/2 full. We just parked our dinghy at their dock and walked up to order dinner around 11:00 am on the way to the beach. I assume this will not work during busy season, which I am certain you know given your extensive experience in the BVI.

Thanks, I have a big group and will give them a try in two weeks. The problem is I rarely know where I am going for the night until the anchor is coming up or even until the lunch stop ends. Anegada I can usually plan 1 day ahead! Drives my wife nuts! Where are we going today honey? I don't know, somewhere!

The day prior is plenty of notice. Never had a problem unless I forgot and waited until 4 or 5pm on the day I wanted to eat.

I have always called on the VHF around 11am or Lunchtime and we have never had a problem getting a reservation for dinner. I can't wait for another fantastic night there.

Be advised this season by midday we are usually full Tuesday to Thursday and highly recommend advance provisional bookings.
