Watched the daybreak but no spectacular colors or skies this morning.

So this is it - the last full day of fun times being spent with three of 'my girls'. If only the fourth could have been here, too, but we count our blessings as they come and maybe one day she will be, too.

We checked out a little real estate and then chose to spend our last full day together at Mullet. Good choice, and while the contour of the beach changed a little since Monday, the water was perfectly calm and totally enjoyable. Lunched on left-overs and some Rosie ribs and fries thrown in for good measure. I'm having a hard time believing I've been here for a week and a half and have made no effort to go into town, not even to shop for pretty shiny things. This cold must have really gotten to me.

We left the girls on the beach enjoying their last hours of Mullet sun before they all begin their exodus on Thursday and after showers and siesta we headed out to happy hour at our pool to chat with some owners we hadn't touched base with yet.

We caught up with the girls and made dinner plans. Plan A was FIG and Bananas but as we drive up to it it appeared closed so we kept on going and enjoyed their farewell dinner at Boca Marina, our new Plan B. The meals were all very good and this dinner was an anniversary treat from our Georgia Peach - sincere thanks, Maureen. Unnecessary, but as always, so sweet of you.

Topped the day off with a quick stop at the casino where John and I walked out up about a hundred between us. A free dinner and the casino paid us to stop in. I'd say that's a pretty good day over all. But the bad news is our daughters will all be gone by this time tomorrow and it's almost scary to think how much mischief we might get into when left 'unattended' and to our own devices.
