Sand gravity set in yesterday so we stayed on site at BSV. After our breakfast fiasco we were content to stay "home" for the day. Surf was rough so cooled off in the pool mid afternoon.

Lunch consisted of a salami and cheese wedge/hero/hoagie/po boy/sub. I know it's called different things around the country. Tried to cover my bases so you knew what I was talking about. Good deal from Maho Market at $2.50.

Meet up with our BSV crew: PAMJ, UPSMAN along with WildBill, The Luker later in the day at the pool.

Our intention was to dine at the Greenhouse.
Thursday night is there prime rib special at $21. The special is also available on Tuesday evenings both nights state after 5p.

Instead we returned for a second evening at the Dinghy Dock Simpson Bay. They had run out of ribs the night before so besides getting to join friends for dinner and possibility of ribs we went back. Thankfully ribs returned to the menu. They were so good.

We also returned because we had talked it up so much to our friends that they were going and we easily changed plans to join them.

Day 15 and it's our last full day on the island. We headed up to Orient early. Our beach of choice this trip has been LaPlaya.

Because we arrived early I wanted to eat something for breakfast. On our previous trips to Orient I had read the menu outside the Yellow Sub with interest toward the crepes.

Their menu is open for Take Away options so it was a no-brainer for me to order the crepe with egg, ham and cheese. Isabelle who used to work at Le Cottage manages the Yellow Sub & Macaron. She asked me if I wanted it sweet and I said no so she corrected me and called it a galette. David and I split it while on the beach.

We met Ted_n _Jan at LaPlaya. Such a nice couple, happy to have met them.

Our best day weather wise on Orient. No rain, gorgeous sunny breezy day. We did not eat lunch today.

Dropped in at Buccaneer for Happy Hour then proceeded next door to Greenhouse. Sat at the bar and ordered a Guavaberry Colada, two-for-one drinks for me. We needed to eat something light and the bang bang calamari were sweet with a little bit of heat. Perfect for us. Definitely hit the spot .

Both places were doing a good business where table options were becoming slim.
