my wife makes one... layers of refried beans, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, chopped onions & peppers/jalapenos and salsa...
heat in the oven for a while and serve...

always a crowd pleaser!

there are lots of good ones if you GOOGLE "hot mexican dip"...

I make this one a lot, is always well liked and usually no left overs.

1# Bob Evans Sage Sausage - browed and drained
1 large loaf of velveeta - cubed
1 jar of salsa - you can use mild to hot, depending on how you like it
3/4 c of sour cream

I put everything in the crockpot on low until melted.

Had this one before, without the sour cream. It was good, with nacho chips!

Yes, serve with tortilla chips, we like to use the Frito Lay Scoops. The sour cream just makes it creamier.

you can also use a can or 2 (recipe is on the can) of Rotel tomatoes. They have mild & spicy versions.

Yum - always a must on Super Bowl Sunday!

Sorry, you are correct, the one I had, had Rotel tomatoes in it, not salsa.
