We found a secluded ball...somethings was said about my lack of a bathing suit. Oh well, adapt and join.
My son told an awesome joke about "a Gorilla walks into a bar..." whilst sitting next to a BIG local guy. When the punchline came out "no wonder you don't see many Gorillas when you charge 19 dollars for a martini" the conversation was PRICELESS with the local guy.
Dipping the rail on the boat for quite a while, digging the mercies out of the wind. Only to notice the NEWBIE is freaking out. conversation about keels and weight solved that.
Hanging thoughts of a TD kept me alert
WWAAYY busier than I thought
Did not break anything

Oh yeah, met a lot of very wonderful people. Hopefully they will point their browser to TTOL once and a while.
Peter, you killed the Lobster Rock/Thermo. Thank you for the lights out during dinner+the bottle of bubbly. Loved the candle light dinner for our anniversary (31).
Linda said HI to a shark @ ABH 4 ft away from her mask. Dolphin pod (3+a 1.5ft juvenile) in Nanny Cay. Many Loggerheads seen in the trip.

Also, not a big fan of the power/motor CAT playing DISCO till 3am at Cooper. Reminds me of the "Martian"
Apparently Pasta and Noodle on 'Gada' approached a couple of campers (land people) we ran into. They were FREAKED out when they aimed their flashlights at the Donkey's eyes. They claimed they were "demonic" "glowing orange" and RAN!!!!

Put 45nm sailing in on one day. dropped the dingy at Cooper for the day, and sailed dingy-less for several hours in ~20+kts wind. On the back side of the Drake Channel. Smooth without that noisemaker on the back....

And another thing...went out to Sandy to check out DAWG ROCKS...no joy.
BUT, the scene from "The Birds" from Sir Alfred H erupted. The trail over the hill takes you to a seagull roost. there are no less than 100 miffed off birds diving you. Nick actually had a feather implanted in his shirt. and there are so many hermit crabs that shoes/sandals are recommended.

And the birds won again against Chris "The Bartender". He was pooped on three times by birds...the most epic was on the way back on the ferry by the large pelican. Kinda looked like a Dalmatian on his white tee shirt. Luckily plan B was in his ferry checked luggage.
And contrary to some rumors some people say in STT/CA...Glady's is not dead, as reported by her competition. ask her about it./

Nice meeting you and your lovely wife at Leverick a couple of weeks ago....we were the bunch wondering if our plane was going to fly that day. They did! major kudos to Air Paradise. Sounds like you had a nice trip!

joeandholls ...so glad you made it, as the morning went on IFR changed to VFR. Glad to hear you did not have a punch line to finish your trip.
Warren...the plan is "November" a rather non-specific time that will hopefully propagate to the entire month.
