I've rented scooters there...gave us a good deal. We had a blast!

One caution about scooters: The roads in Anegada are less than ideal. Lots of sand, potholes, rocks, etc. If you're an accomplished motorcyclist - you could probably go for it. But if you're not, or have never ridden a scooter before, well, I'd recommend against it. I've seen lots of horror stories over the years. Broken arms and legs, road rash, ruined vacations. For the cost of two scooters you can rent a jeep.

UncleLuff said: Dean is the man. Rented a truck with seats in the back for our party of 12(5 kids). strait fee for $90 US. Didn't do the math but I am pretty sure that a taxi to cow wreck bay there and back would have been more expensive. Yes, for that group a taxi would have been more expensive. For smaller groups the cost of a taxi is close to a rental. Anegeda taxi drivers don't charge the standard fares and you can make arrangements for pickup and drop off like a limo. You find your driver and he takes care of you for the day.
