1 week---our shortest stay yet. Celebrated our 31st wed Anv. Honeymooned here Feb 23 1980 Back then our fav restaurants were Le Bec Fin, Spartico, Poisson D'Or and L"Auberge Gourmand. Now only L'Auberge remains. Sadly, our least favorite this trip Rack of Lamb too tough to cut.

Another disappointment was coconut shrimp at Piazza Pascale. Heard good things about it here. Shrimp was in an egg batter that pooled around it instead of clinging. It was like egg foo young. Unlike the great crispy coconut coated ones I ahd at a place on the Lagoon Simpson Bay can't remember the name.

At L'Estimenet shared Parsnip soup. I had Rack Lamb with Frois Gras sauce deliciously tender. Don had steak with camerbert and pepper sauce. I made the mistake of tasting it which led to a 2nd visit so I could order it. We shared Ina's "Back to Childhood" dessert. It's a secret so I can't give details. You just have to order it.

Other great meals: Sol e Luna still the best and so romantic
Fish Pot lunch: escargot, wine, lobester salad for me, caesar salad for Don.
LaVilla dinner: snapper for me duck breast for Don.
Enold's Tuesday since it was Harmony Night thought we'd have our large meal for lunch. Don whole snapper, I had salmon fillet each came with creole rice and salad. We shared cod cakes for aptzr 3 Presidentes 34 E
Le Taitu "Plat du jour" choice of chicken or fish, glass of wine, coffee 10 E

Great parade at Harmony and a talented group of children playing drums and dancing a tthe Cultural Center. Stopped in at Love Bar for my fav "Love Cocktail" and was greeted by the bartender---surprised he remembered me from last year. He called me by the nickname he'd given me TRANCHE. It came from me telling him about a visit years ago to Super Marche Match and asking for "Une peu pate." The lady smeared a knife and handed it to me. Wanting a large piece to take away and not speaking French I said, "Une Grand Peu" translated: a large bit. She laughed said, "Repetez, Une tranche de pate sil vous plait." So now at Love Bar I'm known as TRANCHE... beter to be called a slice than a piece, I guess!

Most bkfsts were the continental incl w/ room chocolate croissants, baguette, juice, coffee along with visits to La Sucriere and Croustibread, a bakery located across from police station GC...thanks Marc for suggesting.
Lastly, we finally found the new cruise ship dock in Marigot. It's past the Mall going north toward Rambeau.
Another perfect trip!
