I read in the Sunday paper that Caneel Bay would be closed all of 2018 for reconstruction. I know Little Dix and Caneel now have separate ownership but wondering if anyone on island had heard anything about LDB reopening in 2018? our trip was planned for August (anniversary) (our honeymoon was at LDB and we'd had several other landbased visits to VG since 1993 so looking forward to a return).

Not sure when it will reopen. They did sustain damage.

They were well behind in August when we were on Island and they were replacing the site project managers because they were not going to be ready for Christmas or soon after. The storm probably made for a good excuse.
