We took our 6 Kids, ages 25-13, to SXM this year for Thanksgiving & had an AWESOME time! We stayed at Villa Isalandtude, which is a Sponsor of TTOL. This Villa has just been renovated & in like new condition. Great views & awesome HUGE refinished pool made lounging around the Villa wonderful! However, we wanted to get outside & enjoy the Island. The first night we went to Lee’s Roadside Bar for dinner. Most of us had the freshly caught wahoo which was very good. First day we went on a hike at Loterie Farm & had a blast! The hike lasted maybe 1 ˝ hrs, was a moderate challenge & provided some VERY spectacular views. We ended the day at Mullet Beach sunbathing & swimming, very nice. We ate at Mario Bistrot for our Thanksgiving meal, everyone enjoyed their meal. Second day we rented 4 Rhino Boats & went on a 3 hour guided tour of Sampson Bay Lagoon, coastline & nice snorkel dive. The kids REALLY liked running their own boats! Wanted to stretch our legs when we got off the boats so ran the Simpson / Cole Bridge, Great venue to run, sidewalks on both sides provided a loop with very scenic views. For dinner ate at Pineapple Pete’s & had the perverbial “cheeseburger in Paradise”. Our last day we lounged around the pool at the Villa sun bathing, swimming & chilling out which was an awesome way to end a fantastic vacation! Villa Islandtude was perfect for our Family of 8 & would highly recommend for a large Family our even up to 5 couples.
