Is there any way the Previous and Next Thread buttons can be moved to the bottom of the page? I'm a member of another forum with similar software where those buttons are at the bottom. It's much more convenient to be able to click on them at the bottom of the page after you have read the last post in a thread.

Will see what I can find out. Should be able to add it at the bottom also.

Something I just discovered: if you access a thread using the "previous" or "next" buttons, you are taken to the first post in the thread. However, if you access a thread from the list of threads, you are taken to the first unread post. Odd.....

Ok, then instead will look at moving the main bar that has the ability to jump back to the forum page instead. Then it should do what you want.

I wondered why that seemed to work only on the first thread I open. Makes sense now, Linda!

Along this same line: the "hop to" button at the bottom of the screen doesn't seem to work. In trying to find an easier way to get back to the index from the bottom of the page, I clicked on that; but nothing happens.

Odd, I just tried it on my antique desktop and it took me to where I indicated I wanted to go. Did you scroll/change the forum you wanted it to take you to?

No, I didn't, because I didn't want to change to another forum; I just wanted to go to the index of the forum I was in. I guess since I was already in the SXM forum it didn't think it needed to do anything at all?

Hop to works to CHANGE the forum, not to go to the same forum you are in. Hopefully sometime this weekend, Eric will have time to look at making changes so that it will be easier to get to the list of posts in the same forum. For now, a lot of the time, I just hit 'back'...

Use the TOP button instead. At the end of each note on the left side below the persons profile is a button - Top. Press that and it will take you to the top of the screen.

Oh, that's good to know. Then when I get to Top, I click on St. Maarten-St. Martin in the "path" row so that I'm accessing threads from the list so it goes to first unread post.
