Dont want to hijack this thread but does anyone know if The Emerald Beach is open on STT? We are planning on overnighting on STT and getting to Tortola next day..its going to take several hours to make CRC habitable for the first night..its being painted..roof on and we have power..but stuff is piled up everywhere! Any word re STT would be much appreciated..if not Emerald..how about Windward Passage?

Emerald Beach is open but limited services. Windward Passage has some rooms available but not all have AC. Again limited services.

According to a post on the "What's Going on St. Thomas" FB page, Emerald Beach is open. Shared to your timeline.

I had seen a Facebook several weeks ago that Emerald Beach is open, it did say limited amenities, but they explained that meant they didn't have the water sports done on the beach. The pool is open, the beach bar just opened and the restaurant is open.

Totally understood Mal,
We stayed at Windward Passage on our way home on our trip in early November 2017. No air in our room, but it was clean with a fan. The pool was open and quite refreshing.
One of the other Sandy Ground Estates Homeowners, stayed at Emerald Beach just a few weeks ago on their way home. I believe they had air although it wasn't guaranteed.
Safe Travels, and good thoughts as you unravel the piles. We are headed to Hideaway on Saturday and will be greeted with the same, less the power and water. We understand they have completed a "rough roof" over the front master so at least we will have that!

Thanks everyone..hope to see all of you down there in the next few months..still planning a summer beach party based at CRC in June or July ( more when we can asses the next stage of upfixin)..looks like a night at Emerald Beach after flying the red eye from SFO and before tackling the house is the way to go..thanks again..if any of you are around down there stop by..we MAY have cold ones!

We have a room booked at Emerald Beach for late February at the end of our charter...they said that more rooms would be coming online around the first of Feb.
