Hi, Friends, I'm sorry it's been so long, but here we are again (second time since Irma and her tornadoes). Virgin Gorda is an amazing place, filled with folks who, may of whom, have lost everything, but still remain positive about not losing their lives. A lesson for all of us. I'm going to post photos taken in last two days, to show the contrast between the tragedies and the beauty of this island. Sending fond hellos to all, Joan Soncini Whoops, give me a few minutes to get that link. Best, Joan

I'm seriously thinking of doing another book on Virgin Gorda, this time something like "The Spirit of Virgin Gorda," a small, inexpensive book, where I'll get it printed in softback (I do expect to pay myself only the price of printing), and the rest of the money + donations will go to a specific fund for the islanders. Any ideas are always welcomed. I've asked some good friends (from here on VG) to make good quotes speaking to the resilience and courage of the Virgin Gordians. I'll include some of my photographs, taken in November and also now in January/February to show the contrasts of the beauty here, and the destruction caused by Hurricane Irma.
