Is is acceptable to wear shorts when dining for dinner in the Caymen? All of the islands we have visited prior to this are typically casual (with a few exceptions of restuarants) but I had read that you shouldn't wear shorts in the Caymen for dinner.

The accepted attire has gotten quite casual over the years and shorts are not really frowned upon at most establishments. Some of the fancier places like Blue, Casa Havana, Grand Old House, etc...might prefer slacks.
